I am spending the night at a friend's place but I don't know who that friend is and I have never been in that house before. I am the first to wake up in the early morning and I start to walk around in the house until all the others wake up. Then we're all having breakfast in our night gowns.
While we're still having breakfast together I hear the doorbell of my flat which is next door. I look to see who it is and it is another neighbour. I go to my flat and I see that there are two parcels lying in front of my door. One of them is probably a book delivery and the other one is a very big parcel without anything on it. I know that it is my laptop which is to be delivered today and I get very angry at the postal service because they just dumped the very expensive thing right in the hall for everybody to steal.
The neighbour and I go inside my flat and I start to unwrap the laptop. While I'm doing this the neighbour makes some strange remarks about stinking people and I ask him whether he wants to tell me that I stink. He says yes and I tell him that he is being unfair because it's early morning and I'm still unshowered wearing my nightie. He leaves and I'm having a shower.
I leave the house and start walking through the streets. I'm suddenly in my old hometown again and want to go to a doctor. That doctor has a very strange practise in a huge old house. There is a long queue of people in the ground floor and I know that the queue goes upstairs, winding
through the whole house, until you're at the reception. I don't get bored in that queue, though, because there are bookshelves with tons of books along the walls. Like all the people before and behind me in the queue I'm picking books from the dusty and untidy shelves. The books are very old and dusty, too, and their titles are very strange. I don't start reading but just grab and replace books while the queue is slowly moving forward. Finally I'm at the top floor and a receptionist writes down my name and address. Then there is another queue leading downstairs
in another staircase. That staircase is a normal one, without bookshelves. So I get into that queue slowly walking downstairs until I'm on the ground floor again. I wonder where I was supposed to meet the doctor but I don't care anymore and leave the building.
I start to walk towards the station because I am supposed to pick up my boyfriend there. On the way I see a punk. His hair is dyed blue and red and at first he's being rude to me. We start talking. The punk tells me that he wants to learn English and therefore got himself an Australian roommate. That roommate doesn't speak German but instead of talking English he tries to speak French and Spanish with the punk who is quite frustrated about this. I email my boyfriend (who is Australian) about this and he emails me back at once, recommending an Australian camp called
