I was laying on a blue operating table, fully awake, yet felt no pain, as the surgeon cut into my abdomen. He removed silvery filaments, long strings of it, then reached deep and came up with a glowing blue, fist sized ball filled with liquid. I watched him turn it around so I could see it more clearly and saw a fetus curled up in it. A bright blue and gold eye opened to stare at me, then closed as a voice echoed in my head.
"I'm coming," it said quite clearly. "Soon."
