I saw myself laying on my roof, body spread out like Jesus was on the cross. I opened my eyes, to see a pink sky still spread with stars. I felt really drowsy, and hung over. I tried to stand up straight but all I could manage was a slouched over back... The air smelled of sweet pastries, and the wind was blowing sweet summer air against my face. I heard something odd, I heard nothing, no noises coming from the block. I quickly ran towards the edge of my roof and saw nothing. All I saw was the block, at it's loneliest. There were no little kids playing, no older kids playing tag. A sense of abandonment came over me. I turned around and laid back down, looking straight into the sky. I pulled out a cigarette from my back pocket, quickly lit it and took a puff. For a short time everything changed to fast-foward. I watched the clouds pass by, and I watched the sky turn from it's rosy pink to a dark and gloomy black. I then went to the edge of my roof again. I stared straight ahead into the distance. I spread my arms out as if I was going to try to fly. I closed my eyes, and smiled. I then leaning over the edge, but before I could fall I felt these warm hands resting on my hips. I tried to fall but he wouldn't let me go, He then said in a low tone "You don't want to do that, Please trust me." So I stopped struggling and started to focus on figuring out who was holding me, but my body wouldn't budge. So I continued to look forward, out at the night sky. I heard his voice again, It was so calm and soft. He said "Listen Kristen, I know things might seem a little tough right now, but everything happens for a reason. Things will get better trust me. You shouldn't do this you have a lot of caring friends down there." I then felt his hand over mine, guiding it to point down at the street. I then looked to where he was pointing to see the block back to normal. I saw Mary, Nicole, Charles, Matt, Nina, Megan, steph, and Diana looking up at me. Nicole was screaming and crying on the floor "Don't do it." Matt was shocked and stood still with his eyes on me and his mouth open, as though he was in awe and he couldn't believe what was going on. Mary was on the floor holding stephy and Diana and they were all crying. This person then said "Things may not go the way you want but they will get better, but not before they get worse. I promise." I then regained the movement of my body, And I quickly turned around to see who was there. The stranger vanished. I was so confused. Everything was racing through my mind. So I sat down at the edge of my house, with my feet hanging over. I Rested my hands on my legs and started to cry. The I felt the same warm touch, as he put his hand over mine. I looked over at him and it was ........ . He smiled at me and said "don't do it Kristen, You got to trust me we all care for you. If you ever need anything I will always be there for you." He reached in for a hug so I grabbed him and held him as close as I could. He then pulled away and said "good-bye." He kissed me, I felt his soft lips against mine. I then went to grab him so he couldn't go away. He then vanished again.
