And suddenly I can see her memory of finding it. She was hiding in the woods and a man came creeping along with a strand of pearls, which he burried and then ran away. When Kelly dug them up, she was shocked to discover that the pearls were now a time machine that looked EXACTLY like my cell phone. Fancy that.
Anywhoo, so Kelly shows me how to use the time machine. To use it you have to crawl into one of those circular dog beds on the floor and then press a button on the TM. Suddenly you are rocketed into a world of pain as horrible cramps grip your gut but thennnn, bam! you are in another time.
Kelly took me to her favorite place first, where she lived the life of a 17th century french artistocrat. We were suddenly clothed in wigs and bussels.
Then she was like,
"Whats YOUR favorite place?" And I said it was NYC in the 1920s. We crawled into the dog beds and we were there. It looked like a grainy brown photograph, except everything was animated and moving around.
"This is great," I thought, "Now I will be alive to hear Malcom X speak."
