It took place at school in the beginning, though it resembled Sabin, my old middle school, more than Doherty, the high school I go to; yet was supposed to be Doherty. There was a clear pond next to the entrance that many kids liked to swim in. They weren't supposed to though, so the teachers constantly watched over the pond. When I finally reached an actual consciousness in my body, I was in the pond laying under the water naked. I could see a few teachers searching and looking in the water checking for anybody in the pond, and I was thinking that I needed to remain completely still so that they couldn't see me. I knew it was lunchtime, and that I did this everyday as a way to relax and think. I never considered how I could be breathing under there, it was just natural. I watched the teachers staring at the water and smiled to myself, closing my eyes to relax. Just then, a man I knew to be the principal of the school grabbed my hair and pulled me out of the water. He began to drag me into the school, saying something angrily, and I quickly picked up a white flowing robe I had sitting next to the pond and threw it over the top of myself. When we got through the doorway, he dropped me and told me to come to his office, then walked away. I stood up and looked at the doors in front of me. In Sabin, they would have been for the lunchroom, but here they led to a bunch of offices. I tried to keep myself covered with the robe, but I didn't actually put it on, I held it against my body to cover myself. I couldn't get it completely over my butt, so I just tried to act confident and started walking through the offices. When I got in front of the principal's office, I finally stopped and actually put on the robe. When I finally had it on, everything was different. I was in a forest, but it was a dull brown and the trees were all just a little shorter than me and were dead. I walked around slowly looking at various things, and I came upon a dove sitting on the right hand pageon top of an old book that lay open that was on a tree set like music would be on a stand, only flat. The writing in the book was neat, like a regular book. I walked on and walked through some very tall green hedges into an area surrounded by tall hedges to form a large square courtyard. The principal, who was now apparently a king, was standing with two guards some ways in front of me. I instinctively picked up a sword that was by my feet to my left and stood in fighting position. He took a sword from one of his guards and came at me, and after deflecting him a couple of times, I plunged my sword right into his chest and then pulled it out, and he fell on his knees and then fell backwards dead. The guards looked at me and then disappeared. I let go of the sword and walked out between an opening in the hedges to the right of where I came in and reentered the dead forest. I walked around blindly, and came back upon the book and dove. The dove now lay dead on the right hand page of the book, with small feathers everywhere. The writing in the book was now inlegible and instead of being horizontal curved upwards. I backed away and began running through the forest terrified, and I came back upon the book and dead bird and realized I was going in circles, but I kept running. I passed something else, but only saw it out of the corner of my eye and didn't know what it was. I finally came to a small house, and entered it to find a small purple faerie. She asked me if I wanted to be forgiven, and I nodded repeatedly. She then proceeded to dance around wildly with colors flying everywhere until my alarm brought me back.
