I was walking ahead of him, and he was following almost beside me.
I know he was German because he was speaking to me in German.
He was in age, over 25. He was soft spoken, with long hair.
He was disappointed in me.
He was telling me about plans to do with my life, and to go with the obvious.
And because I had not been, and still was not in the dream, this was the cause of his disappointment in me.
Even though I did not, and do not, speak Deutch, I still understood him as clearly as if I knew this language.
Which, in the dream, I did even though I spoke in English.
