I went into a shopping centre with a group of friends. It was Eastland in Ringwood, but it was very old.
Like if the shopping centre had been build in the 1700’s.
Wooden walls and red carpet was in some parts of the building.
The esculaters ran down the middle of each level, but were enclosed along the sides of them by glass.
We, my friends and I, were causing a little trouble according to management so sercurity was sent to remove us.
Colin, a maori who is a sercurity guard at the centre in reality, came over to where I was. I raced quickly around a corner to escape his sight and to find a place to hide. Then I changed into a rabbit, and when he spotted this rabbit that I was, I ran from him like he was a fox. Some of my other friends changed into rabbits as well. Colin found himself chaseing rabbit’s all over the place. (We were all European Wild rabbits)
Other sercurity guards were also trying to catch these rabbit’s. I was chased around the bottom level by another sercurity guard, while Colin chased one of my ‘rabbit’ friends down the esculators as well and nearly caught them.
The floor was very slippery under my paws, and I grew tired quickly of running. There was a conference room, with modern settings and lights, and there were shop keepers having a meeting inside this room. There was no doors to this room, and the walls were carpeted with peach or flesh pink. The floor in this part was also this color.
Colin had begun chaseing me again, and so I ran into the foyer before the conference room and pushed my way through the doors of the ladies toilets to hide there. I knew Colin would not go into such a place simply to catch a rabbit. Here I shape-shifted back into a human again and walked back out the door where I met Colin face to face. I looked him in the eyes and said calmly, though firmly, “Can’t touch me now. What are you going to do about me now?”.
For some reason, despite being a sercurity guard and quite solid built, Colin stepped back from me and bowed his head and let me walk past. Almost like a sign of reverence.
Once I was sure I was out of sight I turned back into a rabbit. I did this because I felt that I could sneak around easier this way. Other sercurity guards had chased my friends out of the store, and so I was the only one left. I made my way to the top level of the shopping centre.
Colin came up behind me and so I raced to the esculators. He was behind me as I lept onto the esculator that would take me down to the bottom level again. These esculators were the flat type, not the steps.
Another sercurity guard came up towards me from the bottom and I turned around to run against the direction of the esculator to escape this one. And so Colin pounced on me.
I squeeled, like any captured rabbit would, as he knelt over me trying to strangle me. I had to shift to human quickly, or I would die. As I changed the sound of my squeel turned into a scream of “Colin stop, it’s me”/
As swiftly as he had captured me as a rabbit, he had lifted me into his arms and proceeded to carry me to the first aid room for assistance.
