This dream was kind of dark. You know..sort of left in the dark feeling. I was actually with someone I work with and we were in a hallway in some motel. We had luggage. We were on a trip. I'm not really sure what kind of trip. But she chose this room for her husband. "He wants to be as far from those glaring neon lights as he can outside," she says so she goes in. Shuts the door. I wait with the luggage out in the dark highway. But the room is practically neon blue. I can tell from the light under the door.
"Well, I guess it'll have to do. I can't find a place darker for him to sleep," She concludes and I leave her not sure where I'm going, but end up in a very dark bar. I suppose. Only no bartender, no drinks.
Then as I sit down, Liz, Marie and Max from Roswell show up. First I talk to who plays Liz. I know I'm with the actors, not the characters. We chat like old friends about her summer. But its just mumbling and smiling. Nothing that significant. Then there is the girl who plays Marie. Her hair. Its unbelievably long and glittery.
I tell her I barely recognized her at the Teen awards. She grins and tells me how her sister highlighted her hair. However, she never tells me just how she grew it out so fast. Then she says, "I guess I'll have to wear a wig, again, you know, for the show."
Wig? Oh. Really, I never imagine her in a wig when I watched Roswell last year.
Last, Max. He gives me a real hard look. Like, what in the hell are you doing here? Naturally, he won't say anything. He's dribbling a basketball while the girls have been talking about summer classes, vacations ...whatever.
Finally, he thrust the ball right at me and I catch it. The ball almost knocks me down.
"So did you play any basketball this summer?" I throw the ball just as hard back to him. He catches it with a smile.
"What do you think?"
He wants to play one on one in the dark. And I want to ask him where the guy is who plays Michael because he's my favorite character on the show. Not him. But I have to get up for school.
