in my dream, ronnie has left. he has graduated from something and made a ceremony of leaving. i am in his house with his mother and sister. his mother is lying on the couch. sis is somewhere. she calls carrie. she notices that i am in the room and yells at me to leave so she can spend time with her daughter. i explain that i will be sleeping in ronnie's room if she needs me. i go to ronnies room.
ronnie's mom opens the door. i get up out of the bed and i stand in front of her. she raises her arm and stabs me in the throat with a silver pen! i clutch my throat and stumble out of the room.
i stumble into the road. some cars pass and one stops. an ambulance comes. a man lifts me in his hands and suddenly i am tiny--fitting entirely in his open hands. he takes me to the hospital. the pen is still in my throat.
a man is telling me that he spoke with ronnie's mother. he tells me that she was asked why she did what she did and she replied, "i was just poking her!"
i am still in a "hospital" of sorts. i cough and feel dizzy as the pen is removed from my throat.
