I was walking along campus when suddenly I remembered that my organic chemistry class was taking place at that very moment. By the time that I arrived at the chemistry building, I walked into the huge lecture hall only to hear my professor say, "That's all for today class. Go home and study your notes. You will have a quiz on Wednesday. If you did not receive a syllabus, please get one now."
I walked to the front of the room and asked the professor who was teaching the Tuesday and Thursday Organic Class.
"Dr. Battacharry," he replied.
I groaned remembering that Emily's freshman roommate Laura had him for organic chemistry and he was awful. But I decided to attend the lecture to get the notes so I could study for the quiz that we would have on Wednesday. I did not know if Dr. Battacharry's notes would even cover the right material for the quiz, but I knew that I had to go.
I walked out of the room and down a hallway. A bunch of muscular linebacker looking guys kept pointing at me and whispering, "She's going to fail organic chemistry because she missed today's class."
I almost started crying right there but ran up the stairs and out the door, so they could not see me.
