We were standing in Washington, DC. Everyone seemed rather frantic. I heard someone mention that an asteroid was about to hit DC. I stood on the national mall overlooking the reflecting pool. The asteroid had hit. Everything was destroyed - except the "John F. Kennedy" memorial. It looked a lot like the Lincoln Memorial. JFK was sitting in a chair like Lincoln. Everything around JFK and the chair was destroyed. It looked like a scene from a movie.
(That's all I remember now).
Laurie had spent the night with Kris and me (actually she did last night). This morning she got ready to leave. Aaron and Tiffany came into the house after Laurie left. The futon was still stretched out where Laurie had left it. I feared that Tiffany would get mad that it was out of place, so I crawled out of bed to go fix everything.
In the living room, I saw that Tiffany had brought back the sofa that her ex-fiance had picked up a few months ago. She and Aaron had moved the futon against the wall behind the table in the dining area. A filing cabinet (which looked like one that my parents have owned since I was a toddler) was sitting next to the futon where a chair normally sits. On top of the filing cabinet was an empty packet of instant breakfast that Laurie had before she left for her graduation check.
I tried to throw it away quickly. I looked around the corner and saw Aaron and Tiff. A doggie gate was in front of Tiff's bedroom door to keep Zen (her dog) out. There was another doggie gate in the hallway to keep Zen in a small area. I talked to them for a minute before trying to find Laurie. Suddenly Laurie was standing in the living room talking on a cell phone, which I found bizarre, as Laurie hates cell phones.
