Did you know that if you have 10 items or less, you can choose the "self serve" option at Target checkout lines? Swipe your own credit card, scan your own items, realize that you bought for some unknown reason a copy of some ESPN magazine and three *N Sync dolls (JC, Justin, and a Lance lookalike). That, and because you're incompetent at the whole swiping your own goods (and you realize you have more than 10 items and have a bunch of stuff you actually DON'T want), you're holding up the line.
