This is the third and final dream from that series.
I am out with my mother during a thunderstorm. We are shopping for wall paper. My mother goes into this tower shaped store and disappears. I follow her inside. As I enter the store, which is only on the first level of the tower, I realize that it is not what it would seem. It at first glance looks like an antiques store that also sells obscure patterns of wallpaper (through which my mother is happily pawing). Then I realize that it is a store for Witchcraft, and all of the normal things in there are really illusions which hide the real stuff. I walk over to a shelf of trinkets, and "looking through it" I see that there is a box and a wand inside, each with similar inscriptions on them, as though they belong together. There are three balls on the top of the wand, one that goes from being green to being blue, one that is yellow, and one that is red. All three are constantly spinning. The box is made of a dark kind of wood. I open it up and see three of the same balls (or orbs) in it. I know that now is not the time to try to touch them. Suddenly Belinda is there, looking over my shoulder.
"You must take these. They are your destiny," she says. She is a tall thin lady with white hair and gray skin - - I know she is very old, but she shows no sign of age. Her eyes are gray, too.
My mother comes and says that there is nothing in the store she wants. She leaves. I look down at the box with the orbs in it and see them hopping a little bit, and whirring and singing. The wand is so "happy" (?) it is nearly out of control.
I look at Belinda apologetically. "I have to go," I said, looking towards the door where my mother has just left. Belinda shakes her head.
"I found you and I called you here. If you go out there you will get into trouble. Besides, your mother has already left, and the rain has flooded the whole area." I shake my head and insist that I have to leave.
I walk outside of the store, and see a group of people waiting for me. They are chanting something, and hold sticks and stones in their hands. I know them all. They are my family and friends. Suddenly my cousin Matthew looks at me and screams, "WITCH!" And then he throws a rock at me. It doesn't hit me, nor do any of the cascades or rocks being pelted in my direction. But the rain becomes very heavy. SO heavy in fact, that everyone is washed away. I can see my mother's red van floating away in the distance. I look down next to me and see a cat. The cat has somehow helped me, and I need to help it. It is an orange and white male cat. that trying to stay by my side in the flood. I grab him and wade towards door to the shop. The door is locked. A small voice next to me says to try the laundry shoot in the back. SO I go up the laundry shoot, which gets smaller and smaller as I climb higher and higher. The cat is scrambling next to me to get up.
FInally we emerge at the top, and there is Belinda with a grey cat. As I pick myself up, both cats begin to nuzzle my feet and circle around my legs, purring. SHe smiles at me and says, "You were solitary born. Dont deny your destiny."
