I always dream that I am trying to insert a contact lens, and the lens is misshapen, making it difficult. I look down at the lens, and its diameter is much larger than my pupil. I end up inserting it, injuring my eye. I look into a mirror and see that my pupils have clouded over. I remove the contact lens, and I'm unsure whether I have removed my eye's actual lens, not the contact lens.
I've had similar dreams repeatedly.
I am a contact lens wearer, which probably explains the phobic-type dreams.
