I forget how the dream started, but the first location I remember is the auditorium from my elementary school. (I happened to have visited there last week, so I'm guessing that's why it appeared.) I was there with a bunch of people that I didn't really know, except I did recognize Jason and Alex from Phantom Planet. A few of the people were trying to organize some sort of thing, I wasn't really involved so I paid little attention.
Jason was leaning against the stage in the auditorium, being very quiet and to himself. I felt the need to entertain him, so as I glanced at this piece of paper with a name on it (The last name was Shrer), I took off, full speed to the end of the auditorium, which was now an indoor pool, lept up onto the diving board, and did a canonball whilst screaming the name.
I emerged from the water very slowly, it was like I was weighed down by layer upon layer of soaked clothes. I walked up to him, dripping, laughing to myself and he gave me a half-smile. At this point I was perplexed at why he wasn't busting out in laughter with me because the name had for some reason, become some sort of inside joke between us.
Then I simply cocked my head and said "You're in an awfully bad mood," and hopped up onto the stage and laid down. He then turned to Alex, who had just walked up, and told the store of my flying leap into the cold water, shouting the odd name, and Alex responded with a good chuckle.
I got up to leave, but before I did I gave Jason a nice wet hug, and walked out of the auditorium, whose floor was now an actual floor again.
That's when the dream did one of those turns into something completely different.
I was in Boston, looking for my friend Anna, who had run off deciding to become homeless. Why you decide to become homeless is beyond me... but that's not the point. I was there trying to convince her to come back home or at least find a home or something productive.
Once I found her I tried to interrigate her about her decision, while we stood on a small patch of cement under a tree in the middle of an intersection. She avoided the question and began asking me about the current status of our friends because I think about 5 or so years had past since I last saw her. I went over everyone we knew, talking about achievements and how incredibly happy they all were. The one I remember is talking about the giant ring my friend Loren is now sporting from her recent engagement to Joe (a guy she is dating here and now in reality). I avoided talking about myself completely.
I don't remember if I was able to persuade her to fix up her situation, but I do remember it had something to do with Madonna.
