I have no idea where my puny brain came up with this one, but it did and I can't help but laugh. The first thing I remember was looking at a full-page advertisement for the new season of "Making The Band" and I noticed two of the guys were no longer there (Trevor and Erik, and yes I know their names. So sue me for spending a sick day on the sofa watching a marathon. :P!), and there was a new guy. There was a little description of an upcoming episode talking about finding a new member for the group.
Next thing I knew, I was walking down the halls of a high school (shockingly, it looks just like mine...), with some members of the band (Jacob and Ashley), and some girls come running up to Ashley and I just laugh and whisper his name menacingly. Don't...know...why. But it occured to me that I was in the band...
Anyway, from there the dream switches, and I'm watching this avant garde play (a la Cirque du Soleil) with my mom and dad and I'm completely fascinated. It's got great special effects (I'd try to explain them, but it's next to impossible) and I thought the whole thing was genuinely funny. Next thing I knew I was a member of the cast, running all around while we helped this family (one little girl, a boy and girl about the same age and mom and dad) into the strange world of our show. Then another cast member and I were downstage doing some little skit. He was in a large trunk, and he poppped he head up and said he hoped the show would stop playing sometime before 2009, because by then he would be 30 and wouldn't be allowed to be in it anymore. Then I piped in and said, "For me, 2011!!"... my math was off, but I'm a performer, damnit!
The dream switched again and I was in my friend Anna's car and she was driving me home from school like she does everyday. Then we headed to some local little shopping thing that held an abandoned Jamesway (like there is at Dairyland Square, only this wasn't Dairyland) and the roads were hellish. Once we got there, she ran into a store do get something and when she got back and we were driving away we ran over someone, but so did the car in front of us so then it was ok... And we laughed...
