it's during a play, and we're all in the hall outside the dressing rooms and the green room.
some "famous" guy is visiting. he's not very famous, more like ben stiller famous, except the ben stiller when he was only in 'something about mary' and 'keeping the faith.'
anyways, this guy looks a little like nathan lane and he's wearing a gay sweater, only it's loose enough so he's not gay.
i am running around between dressing rooms doing little tasks with a bottle so that i can feed the baby (what baby?).
the famous guy is smoking a cigarette - in school, no less - so i dig this old ratty cigarette out of my bag and say, "hey, you got a light?"
he holds out his cigarette and we squish the ends together and amazingly they're both lit.
i go outside to smoke on the gray pavement and when my friends come out to scold me, i say, "don't worry, i only smoke once a week."
