I was shopping with my best friend from highschool (with whom I haven't spoken to in at least a year now - "irreconcilable differences") at a sports store.
Looking through all the usual athletic gear and running shoes I felt out of place (I'm soooo not sporty). I walk over to the corner and there is this rack full of pretty dresses, skirts and shirts. She and I plow through it picking out all the pretty things. We go into the back and try the clothes on in these stalls that appear more like shower stalls at a gym.
After trying on a few items we go back out to the rack. This old Polish woman who is cleaning the store starts yelling at us that the store is closed, but the vacuum is so noisy that we can't hear her. Finally she shuts it off, and yells at us that we better clean up after ourselves. My ex-friend yells back "that's your job!".
I go back in to the change room and try on this black velvet body suit thing that ties around the neck like a halter top. It feels kind of tight and I decide not to take it, and my ex-friend morphs into Kelly Kapowsky from Saved by the Bell and tries on this aqua, tight mini dress.
