I was running away from something... it was dark and I could hear it
crashing through the woods behind me... I could feel it's breath and
I could
feel it's rage. I ran and ran. my shoes were destroyed after a while
and I
continued to run. I ran for days, but the sun never came up. it
seemed even
the sun was afraid to show it's face to the monster chasing me. the
woods
gave way to fields and the fields to prarie and from prarie to a
clif that
disapeared above the ocean. the water crashed and churned... the
water was
dark... it seemed alive. I stood at the edge and waited for the
monster to come. I could still hear it. there would be no avoiding it for there
was
nowhere to go. as it began to rain blackness down on me I felt the
monster
reach me. still I did not look at it. I looked up into the sky and
let the
blackness fill my eyes as the monster's voice grated into my ears.
"your
body will die today. your body will die and be food for the maggots,
but
your soul will be mine." I am flying. up into the sky. there are
others
flying with me. they grabbed me and pulled me down. into the ocean.
I am a
wave.
