I was at a party held at the house of someone from school, possibly Carrie or MG. I'd just got there and I was wandering around finding people and where the bathroom was. Next thing I knew I was curled up on a chair in a shed with a plastic roof and I'd been asleep for hours. People had written random names and words on my right hand and arm in fine black texta. Someone was asking me for the CDs I'd burned for the party and I rummaged for them in my bag, coming up with them eventually although one kept turning into an ABBA album.
I went outside where there were a couple of swimming pools. Lots of people were there with their kids. I went back inside to get my phone to ring my mother because I'd suddenly realised I was meant to have Holly with me and I didn't know where she was. My mother said she'd come pick us up and take Holly back with her and I could go home. I had to go around asking people where the house was because I couldn't remember the address. I ran into one of the Michaels in the lounge room and realised the reason he looked odd was he'd had his skull reshaped to resemble a dog's head.
I went outside and started asking the kids if they'd seen Holly, describing her dress and what she looked like. None of them had seen her. I realised the garden wall had several gaps in it and outside was a busy intersection. I thought how irresponsible it was to have a party where kids were left mostly unsupervised in a yard so close to a main road. I began to fear Holly had wandered off and been run over or abducted.
I went back inside to find Paul to make him help me find Holly and my mother was there with a camcorder. She was showing me something in the viewfinder and something on the tape counter. According to her, 2 hours 45 minutes' worth of tape had been used but where Holly was meant to be in the picture the tape was playing back white and grainy, and that meant something. Then I realised Holly was much younger than she was meant to be and I was wondering if it really was her or if someone had set me up with someone else's child just to upset me.
