there are four other parts to this dream. i separated them because it would have been insane to try to get it all into one page.
he pulls his head back so he can see her face. he knows she's crying, but he can't tell why. he places his hand below her chin and gently lifts her face to his. she is smiling though, because she has never felt like this before. she's never met anyone that made her feel safe, and protected like he does. there's just something about him. he wipes the tears from her eyes and holds her. he puts his head over her shoulder and his arms wrap tightly around her middle. they sit like that for a while, just taking in the whole scene. they shift their positions, and in the process brings a blanket around the both of them in a collective effort. he now sits crosslegged on the bed. she is sitting in his lap with her arms around his neck and her head on his shoulder. he puts his arms around her, and they seem as one underneath the blanket. she looks up at him with her chocolate brown eyes as though he were the only guy in the whole world. to her, he was the only one, and is the only one. in the little part of the world she called her own, he is the only one that could make her feel this way, and the only one she could ever think about. she smiles, and when he looks down at her, he smiles too. he loves to see her smile. she sighs contently...but it is bittersweet. she knows the night has to end sometime. she doesn't want it to. she is savoring every second of this night, storing them away in the depths of her memory, so she can remember this night for the rest of her life.
