A hurricane was approaching, but no one knew where it would hit or when (much like a tornado). I was at the Market (where I work) the entire time, but at the same time...I wasn't there. I kept thinking, "I wonder how everyone at the Market is! I should probably call them." It was strange.
Rain and wind pounding outside, I opened the door to check on things, was nearly blown away. I was afraid the windows would break and the place would be flooded and blown to bits. I recall wanting to put all the knives in a safe location but I never got around to doing it. We listened to the hurricane reports on the radio, but they were very confusing.
The hurricane never hit, it reversed its path and headed back out into the Atlantic Ocean. I was very relieved.
