I was wearing a full body-suit made out of biomechanical armor, all of the whirly
medium-greys of concrete when it's made
with a real fine-grain sand and too much
water. It felt strange, like being fully encased
in a hungry cage of flesh. Like very, very heavy
saran wrap many layers thick, yet as soft as
a giant toothless mouth.
Only the space from my clavicle to the top of my head was exposed, and I was walking down
a dark street where every inch of the street
slithered and gave off a sort of vapor. I could
see my breath as I walked in the sickly pink
light, that emanated from the street, knowing that
there were monsters just past the pillars and
breathing dwelling places, but that I was not
vunerable to the monsters, who could not see
me when I wore the suit.
The suit was very very heavy, and gave off a
distinctive clove smell. I could not remember
why I was 'outside', or what I was looking for.
